Back to pc gaming and need an upgrade?

I recently tried upgrading an older i5-2500 system with an R9 380 and was a little disappointed with the performance. I sent the card back and then got a GTX 1070 which was much better but even then it could get a bit choppy at times so I ended up upgrading the rest too. There's no harm in trying it with the card first though to see how it performs with the games you play.
