Back to Pc gaming, what shall I get ?

Well been hooked on TF2 for the last eon, and before that css which just became boring and full of noobs who didn't like pre-firing into the same camping spots. Then I found many of these so called 'noobs' were admins who had itchy ban fingers :D

Played lots on my PS3 but now have an 8800gt on way and want to get back into PC gaming. Crysis was sweet and warhead will be arriving today or tomorrow, but I NEED MORE.

Not really interested in driving games as my G25 and PS3+plasma setup handle those duties. I love fps games mainly and was wondering what good games are out there from the last year or so, plus the latest ones.

I have COD4 for pc and BF2 isn't for me, but what else is, bioshock seems to be rated highly ?

Bioshock is quite nice.

Timeshift was also fun, and can be picked up for very little these days.

I still love ET:QW, though don't get much chance ot play it.

Don't think bother with UT3 - not many people play, and many just can't get into it.

Althought there is a lot of ney sayin about Stalker Clear Sky i quite like the game tbh. Although on the 8800 GT you might not be able to max everything out but it still all looks good.

Orange box is a must have if you havnt already played the hl series. Portal is F.T.W btw :)
Although lots of fps there. Try C&C games or Supreme Commander thats meant to be a good RTS.
 
The 8800gt will be an awesome upgrade from my x1900xt that i play on my 20inch dell widescreen. Not an amazing rig, but I would rather spend more money on games and uber detail and only be able to afford 1 new game :D Rest of my pc is an E6300 @ £3.5ghz, 2gb team ram @ 1:1, so it shoul dpur along nicely. Also never had an nvidia card before, SHOCK HORROR.

Will get bioshock as it seems cheap, got orange box but only played tf2. Still haven't completed HL2 (kept re-formatting and not keeping save) and isn't there some reality mod to make it better ? Got supreme commander, great fun but too spammy fo rmy liking, definately in a fps phase now.

Prey seems to be in some cheap deals as well, 2 discs for 15 or whatnot.
 
I got pray from a compeditor shop. Not and E-shop but one you have to walk into and buy with a card or real money O_O for 1quid :) best purchase i have ever made hehe.
Bioshock as you said you can get cheap bout 15quid new from some shops.
If i remember anymore fps games i will post :p
