Stuck the prommy on this rig (k8n neo plat) and for some bizarre reason I can no longer get into the bios; I just get a black screen with a flashing cursor at the top left hand corner.

I've tried doing a full reflash... no joy.

Is this common for this 'board or has something gone **** whilst putting the prommy on? :P
 
I've had cold boot issues with this board from day one but this is not the current issue. I can get into Windows fine, run prime, play my games et al.

Getting into the BIOS to actually start some overclocking is where I'm falling short! ATM, the issue I have is the mem is running 1:1 and it's only CH5 so tops out on it's SPD (2-6-3-2) at around 220MHz synched (Windows MSI tweak overclocker thingy).

If it's not one thing, it's something else :)
