I have been without a console system for about 3 weeks now and I couldn't stand it anymore.

So I went out and bough the console that I loved and used the most, the mac daddy, big cheese, Big G. The X Box.

Picked up a brand new x box with 4 game (Doom 3,Jade Empire Rainbow 6 and Splinter Cell) for just under £60 after part exchanging 2 games.

Not a bad deal I think.

Let the gaming begin :D

Anyone out there still got the old x box or have you all updated to the new 360?

Thanks Luke

I've still got my Xbox, and will be keeping it for some time. Was playing it at the weekend as well, working through Jade Empire for a 2nd time, and playing Sid Meier's Pirates too.

Sid Meier's Pirates, what's this game like.

Looks like my kind agame.

do you sail the seven seas with your own ship and stuff?

I've still got my x-box and plan to for a long time to come.
Currently playing Forza (very badly) and just picked up Soul Calibur 2 for £4. Recently completed Kotor 2 which was good. :)

It's very good, you get to engage in sea battles against other ships, get promoted by various countries for your actions (or have a bounty put on your head), search for treasure, hunt down other well known pirate. It's really quite fun :)

The original Pirates is much more old school than that. It was Pirates! Gold which was out on Dos/Win95 :)

Still got my xbox, much to the other halfs fury lol. Promised her when the 360 came out it would replace the xbox's space in the rack. Little did I know that half the games wouldnt be backwards compatible and the media center would be limited.

I think Black may have been the last purchase for it though - theres nothing else on the horizon that I fancy which isnt out on 360, but it will retain its place as a media and emulation center :)

Still got my Crystal Xbox and it's going nowhere!

250gb and XBMC makes it a superb media center (XBMC), and emulation center.

For those that want the Xbox 360 'feel' to XBMC, ther is the MC360 skin that gets released at the beginning of april - looks good.

cmt

Got my 360 in my bedroom connected to Xbox Live and my old Xbox in my Computer room connected to my PC. Gonna get a cable running from my PC to my bedrom though so i can use XBMC in bed :p

I still got mine... its got a 250gb drive and the X3 front panel with LCD and Neon... Its Pimped!!! LOL! Gonna swap the hard drive to a 40gb one soon though as i mainly use it for XBMC... Its quality... I have the pimped version... I have yet to find anything it will not play... It even browses RAR and BIN files and plays the files inside... Quality...

Oh and you have to get Ninja Gaiden...

Yep still got an Xbox and enjoying it loads!!

Soooooo many fantastic games can be got now for an absolute steal, A+ titles pre-owned for £4-5 a shot, it's great :D

noway id get rid, 80gb hd and xbmc in it rocks :D
Quoted for absolute truth. XBMC is an ace piece of software, and I'm probably going to have to get my own Xbox when I move out of this house now, just because the one here has become such a useful and fun feature of our front room. :)
