Back to the Future - The Game - Confirmed!

It'd be cool if they built Back to the Future around the GTA4 engine with open world gameplay maybe in the future like the 2nd movie, but I fully expect it to stink.

ONE POINT TWENTY-ONE JIGGAWATTS!!!

Seriously though, not confident it will be any good.

There was a great DeLorean Crysis mod, it jumped maps when you hit 88mph.

Oh god I remember the Back to the Future videogames on the NES/Master System/Mega Drive.

What the hell were the developers smoking when they made those!

They are on par with the E.T Atari game.

Back to the Future! i'll be having one of those. I've even got the poster on my wall :o

Love the film, am probably going to hate the game. Why do developers keep cashing in on franchises instead of making something interesting and original? OK, the answer is fairly obvious, but it's a shame non the less.

I think every single move licensed game I've played has been a steaming pile of horse crap. The ONLY exception is Die Hard Trilogy on PS1, although the Die Hard with a Vengance part was actually pants.

When I saw this thread I was thinking that the game was bound to be terrible but the fact that tell tale are involved has given me a lot of hope, an adventure game based on that franchise could be really good :).

EDIT: Maybe not, a fair bit of swearing.

I linked to the AVGN review of Back to the Future for the NES. ;)

If it's anything like that, then count me in. :D

Thats the only PS1 games I'm half tempted to get and play it on the PS3

:D

I loved the third person sections, based on the original Die Hard film. The light gun bits from Die Hard 2 were awesome as well, even though they were tricky as hell when you were 12 or 13. :(

I had the 'Screen Gems' Amiga 500 bundle that came with Back to the Future 2 :p Looking at wiki I must have had it late 1990 (20 years ago:eek:) because I wanted the batman pack but that was replaced by Screen gems in september 1990.

I vaguely remember a Back To The Future game on Snes / Mega Drive. I could only have been about 8 or 9 at the time though.
