back-up options

hello all, am wanting to put my spare SSD in to my mac mini 2010 but am wanting to keep the os thats on there as is, wants the best way of cloning the drive to the ssd so i can simply switch the drives over with no need to install the os :confused:

edit: i can connect the SSD to the mini via usb with a enclosure if that helps

well carbon worked but the ssd failed on me after a day

so i had to stick my 500gb back in
