Hi,

I came across this product recently which was intriguing in that it seems to have quite a few cool features which appeal to me:

-It seems to actually be made in Germany unlike the other gaming chairs which all seem to be pretty much the same shape and design (the Noblechairs Hero and Secretlab Titan are quite literally the same chair).
-You can move the arm rests completely out of the way which is great if you are a guitarist
-There are more options with the seat pan, you can tilt it forward and move the seat pan forward or backwards.
-padded arm rests
-lumbar support is adjustable both horizonal and vertical

But looking at a few reviews it has a few negatives

-There is no headrest pillow included
-One review I saw said that the shape of the chair around the shoulders isn't that comfortable in that it's like leaning back into a curve
-It costs a lot for gaming chair nearly £600!

But overall it looks like a pretty configurable gaming chair compared to what's out there. One thing for me being a Noble Chair Hero owner is to get something which a more padded seat which I have no idea why they designed it this way. When you look at the construction of the seat pad it's a poor unergonomic design. It slopes from where your legs go down to where you bum sits. Also the bit where you actually sit is a really thin piece of foam sat upon metal bars.

What are your thoughts?

I'm not a fan of Herman Miller Chairs to be honest, I tried an Aeron out in John Lewis a while back and realised it wouldn't be for me. As soon as I sat down I felt the metal rim on the seat pan cut into my legs. Also I like to sit cross legged and play guitar which isn't possible on the Aeron. I do really like the Hero, I just wish the seat pad was a bit softer and didn't slop down. Also if there was some way to get the arms out of the way when I want to play guitar.

Still looks like every other "gaming" chair, TBH.
There's a reason why all the best ergonomic, supportive, long-use chairs look nothing like these... and at £600, I'd be building my own out of a nice comfy car seat!

As someone who has owned a Steelcase Please V2, and ad Humanscale Freedom which are supposed to be ergonomic chairs I found them quite the opposite. I agree it's a hell of a lot of money and still seems to have design flaws, why is it so hard for someone to build a decent chair which doesn't cost an arm and leg which doesn't has major design flaws like the Aeoron which cuts into your legs?
