My parents have a PC and a Mac, and they really need to back them up as they contain business files and that's quite important :D

What would be the easiest way to achieve this? Bare in mind that it needs to be really simple, the Mac is a Mac Mini. Both machines have CDRWs, NOT DVD RW's. Both machines have 40gb HDDs.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks

NAS device with RAID 1 and frequent backup to another external disk/dvd/tape? Should be sufficient redundancy for a home office

All my external hard drives are now HFS+, and I use MacDrive 7 on my PC.

I have an external DVD burner (inc DVD-RAM format) for use with my MacBook.

Data is backed up to DVD-RAM (FAT32 & 12x speed) several times a day, and DVD+RW (8x speed) discs on a daily basis (a separate dsic for each day).

Plus DVD-R/+R on a weekly basis.
