Backing up Active Directory Info

Wrong forum... maybe this would be beeter in windows software?

Unless you're going to use another back up util (like backup exec or arcview for example), then the short answer is no.
 
Because the registry is cracked so bad and from what I can see I cant de-select that in NTbackup which means when I restore to a fresh machine I'm going to end up with my shot registry again

But quite a lot of AD info is stored in the registry, you need to back it up...

The machine can obviously boot, so you're better off fixing the problem rather than doing something drastic. I take it you only have one DC?
