backing up drivers

Hi,

I am formating my sony vaio laptop...

I have heard of programs (freeware) that will backup all my drivers in 1 click...

Is that true?

I dont know what to use...

I agree, the drivers are easy to download and save them to a flash drive. probably easier than finding the program, installing it, working out how to use it etc

Yep...

I have a folder of drivers...
If I ever need to install a driver (from online/CD/whatever) then I store them in that folder.

If ever I need a driver in future - It's there.

Everyone should have a drivers folder.

(Or apps & utils with drivers being a part of it)

double driver is good

i'd use this first, then after formatting try to download newer versions if you can, but if you can't find them, then revert to the backedup ones
