backing up drivers

I am going to be doing a fresh windows installation on a friends very old machine.

Does anyone know of a program preferably freeware that will enable me to backup all his drivers at the click of a button?

please please help

Have a look in the General Utilities And Other Applications section for Driver Collector and DriverGrabber.

just find out what hardware you have and download the newest drivers for them

much better way
