Backing up Google earth

I've had a look at google but can't find anything relevant for vista. I want to backup my google earth placemarkers so I can stick windows 7 on here but can't find the file. What should I be looking for?

back up the whole folder of google earth?

C:\Users\Steve\AppData\Roaming\Google\GoogleEarth

is where mine is.
