In light of the imminent sale of my 60GB PS3 in favour of an 80GB unit, I need to know the quickest way of backing up my save games.
Is it just a case of simply saving the save data files to a memory stick and then transferring them over to the new PS3?

If you don't mind redownloading PSN games and just want your saves, copying them one by one onto a memory stick is the best option.

Then you just stick it into the new console and copy them back. :)

I don't think there's any way of avoiding re-downloading the games from PSN unfortunately, I checked with Sony and they said simply swapping over the HDDs wouldn't work.

Really looking forward to downloading Siren again. Heh.
