hello. ok ive often wondered it but now i really need to know.
i am planning a backup of around 500gigs of information and my only backup solution is single layer dvd.
i have loads of folders all with different contents also the folders are different sizes .
now i want to back them all up... ok so here comes my question
if i go into nero and just drop my folders in until my dvd is full, burn then move onto the next one i often find that i have a few hundred mgs sometimes a few gigs left on the dvd.
what i want to do is tell some piece of software to put all these folders on as few dvds as possible and maybe make a vew cue sheet or image or somthing.. then all i need to do is burn and my backup of those folders is done and i can move onto the next section of the system i want to backup.
i am hoping there a good solution... i am lazy and manually filling up all those dvds in nero is going to be crap unless i find a easier solution..
so you could say i was looking for an effecient dvd backup solution with flexabilty .
edit/ i forgot to say that when i put the dvds in the drive there should be accessable as normal... dont really want to compress using ghost etc... file backup for longterm storage
