Backlight Bleed - Counts as a fault?

i would say yes as the screens should not have bleed in the first place.

kinda like a phone i got the rubber seal from screen to the glass was missing and it had severe light bleed it went straight back no probs

is the bleed seeping through the display itself or around the edges onto the front panel
 
Would defiantly raise an RMA.
Not sure what BenQ's policy is for BLB but hopfully its better than their dead pixel policy!

I might try this with my current Dell. Awful bleed on all 4 edges. Whats the standard warranty on a Dell? I don't have original receipt though :( Would they be able to tell from Serial number?
