What is your take on this new monitor, backlight bleed? Most photos exaggerate it. I don't really notice it (?) in normal bright full screen use, but in darker games/movies I do. For example in the black bar below the movie video. Mainly in the bottom right. There is a risk that returning will give me an even worse one, as I understand Gigabyte's QC isn't good in this area. But probably can't accept this either.
The last two are with a black background. With other colored background backlight bleed isn't apparent.
How does it compare to you?

For an IPS looks fine to me m8 ive had many monitors if you don't have any dead or stuck pixels and don't see any DSE I would keep it. IPS panels due suffer with odd bit of backlight bleed somewhere. I have a LG 32GP850 and its the only monitor ive ever had that i would class as perfect tbh.

It doesn't look great in those pictures, but photos always overemphasise it.

I wouldn't want to watch films on that screen, but it's probably fine for gaming unless you're obsessed with perfect blacks, in which case you'll have to spend at least twice as much for an OLED.

It's mostly the bottom right corner that bothers me.
What is DSE? Dead pixels it doesn't have no.
