Backlight.bleed new tv what can I do?

After some advice bought a new lg tv today in the sales im getting really bad backlight bleed.

Is there a fix or should I just return the tv and get a refund? Can I return a tv because of this issue? Was only a £449 tv but still its really annoying! Even the mrs is complaining and she doesnt care for tech

I'd advise sending it back as well. Not worth dealing with such a flaw imo when you have the option to return it.
