Backlight Bleed

First off, Hi to everyone.

Is backlight bleed common? Do all TFT's suffer from this? I just bought a Viewsonic 17'' TFT and it is noticeable on the lower edge. Not sure if i should go back to CRT!

Could you live with the above?

Not sure? Just that it is noticeable and when viewing any page the lower half looks slightly lighter! Is this normal?

Well, its going back anyway and i have to choose another TFT now. See my other thread. You can delete this one if you want. Ta
