Backlight Bleed

Hi guys I had the Samsung S27B971D 27" Matte for Xmas, however I am really concerned about the backlight bleed I'm getting for a monitor of this price.

Is this normal? Would you say it's just faulty?

Hmm the bottom right does look bad, but I get some blb on my monitor too (not to the same degree) and tbh I very rarely notice it, unless the screen goes black/blank as in your image. Day to day usage where their is something on screen, I.dont notice it, so.Id say if you notice it a lot and it annoys you maybe you might want to get it replaced, if not just try and not let it.bother you :-)

Yeah it doesn't look as bad as the picture really and certainly don't notice it when gaming / or when images are loaded, only notice it on loading screens.

I'd say that's faulty if you can see that much bleed.

I have the glossy version of this monitor and there's almost no backlight bleed at all. Can't see anything even during films in the dark.

Maybe I was just lucky...
