Backlit wireless keyboard for HTPC...?

Thats a lot of money for just a HTPC keyboard.

I cannot find anything else that is wireless and has backlit keys on OcUK and I cannot give examples from other or competitors websites/stores.

If that is the only one, try finding one on the members market which you should have access too.

Ah, I just noticed, you have not made 100 posts in the last year.

Get your posts up to 300 and then the next day you will be eligible for the members market. It will automatically appear in the home page of the forums.

Plus, if you have an OcUK account on the main website for buying things etc, go to account, enter forum username and password and you will be able to get free shipping on orders.

I want this keyboard too for my PC I built recently and people say it is really good, but it does seem quite expensive.

I think I probably will end up getting it, I just need to see one first in real life

I have one. If you have any questions... just ask.

Basically, what do you think of it?

Worth the money?

How much do you use it, and roughly how long does it last?

Are the keys rubbery or plastic?

Any issues with it?

Basically a mini review :p haha, or just answer the questions above if you can please then I will let you know if I think of any more questions :D

Honestly, I would. I wouldn't pay £90 for a keyboard in the first place. I use a £40 Roccat Kova Plus gaming mouse which is more than I usually pay for a mouse and a £15 Microsoft Curve 2000 keyboard which I think is a god damn good keyboard. Great for my touch typing skills and responsive in gaming!

Hmmmm, I am thinking of getting a wired one, because it is very expensive for what it is. I will wait and see what Buchanan0204 says about his then decide

Worth the cash?

That's a matter of opinion and how much cash you have to splash. If your minted, then 90 quid is nothing I suppose and you will enjoy it. However. It's not something I would buy if I had to save up for a fortnight or sacrifice on other things. I got mine half price and it's more than worth £45. If it broke... would I buy another at £90... hmmm, probably! But not definitely.

How much do I use it?

Every day for numerous hours, I do a lot of typing and play a few games as well. It's an excellent typer, unlike my old Cyborg gaming keyboard. It's very pleasant to type on. The battery lasts ages, even with the backlight on. No problems there. I'd say 7-10 days... maybe more. When it's low on battery. I stick it on charge overnight (USB port, PC doesn't need to be on either) and it's fine in the morning for another fortnight of abuse.

What's the keys like?

Hmmm... Neither rubbery or plastic. They have a smoothish feel to them, not quite matte, not quite glossy. Just right IMO. This wont be a problem.

No issues what so ever... I have and find problems with 99% of my stuff. This is one product I own... I can't find a niggle with.

Thanks for that :D

PC World sell them, so I think I will go there and see one and then decide :)
