I've been given a lovely weighty 17" HP Zbook for work and need a decent backpack to go with it.

The laptop itself is probably 17.3" or so as there is a fair bezzal around the screen and the power adapator is like a brick so a deep bag would be needed.

Any recommendations?

My wife got me a North Face backpack for Christmas. I don't think it'll fit 17" but the quality is superb and the ergonomics are very good too. I'd be looking at that as an option.

I've been using an Asus ROG backpack for my 17" dual GFX asus monstrosity. It's nice and subtle. My laptop is the Asus G74SX, its dimensions https://www.asus.com/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-G74SX/specifications/

They do them with fancy coloured accents too.

Edit: Doesn't have a giant mouse swinging from the strap.

Screw it, needed a new one as the Port Designs is aging a fair bit now due to a lot of travel recently.
Ordered one of these Freebiz (dubious name I have to say) from the rainforest place.

Fits to: Dell xps 18 1810/Asus rog g752vl-dh71/Asus G752VT /Asus G752jz/Msi ge72 apache 235/ROG G751JT etc.
Comfortable Strap Design:Airflow back system multi-panel airflow design provides extra padding for comfort and Maximum Back Support.
Organizer Pocket: Interior organizer provides divider pockets for pens, pencils, cell phone and CD's.Plenty of pockets to organize whatever you need to carry.
Quality and Durability :Its lightweight, durable and water-resistant 1860D ballistic nylon construction helps keep precious cargo safe and dry.

I like the looks of it, will hold my 17.3" Acer V17 Nitro Black Ed laptop as well as some travelling clothes easily too. £60 delivered on prime too and will be blacking out the badge.

Ho

I have an Everki Titan. Large rucksack with a huge amount of space. They have other models also.

Yep, a snip at £141 quid.
Bought me son one for his 18th birthday. It's big for sure and best suited for large laptop and ipad or documents/study materials/paperwork. I have to say though that the build quality is really very impressive. It comes with a Lifetime warranty which I think says a lot.
