BackPlate for 770

Hi All,

Quick question. I have a gainward 770 and I saw that EVGA do a backing plate for their version of the 770.

Question 1, will it fit onto the gainward? From what I can see the screws all look to be in the correct place.

If so, happy days.

If not, I have found three backing plates for VGA watercooling blocks. These are the XSPC, EK and Alphacool.

Question 2, is it possible to fit these without having the actual watercooling block? Specifically the EK one as it looks the cleanest.

From what I have seen, if the correct length screws were used for these backing plates they should fit without the corresponding water cooling block.

If neither will work then its fine, as its only for decorative purposes.

Coldzero do backplates for the 770, they do a few designs or you can design a custom one.
I have some for my 780, and there are a few others on here used them also.
