Backspace wont delete?

Ok ive just bought myself a new G19 keyboard but for some reason my backspace key will only delete to the right and not to the left like it should? im running Windows 7 pro and have installed all the drivers for the G19 but the backspace key will not delete to the left? ive tried my keyboard on my other computer with Windows 7 running and the latest drivers also for my G19 and the backspace deletes how it should to the left so i know its not the keyboard at fault but something on windows 7 that has change somewhat? anyone else had this kind of problem and is there a fix?

Can you check the keyboard layout options in the Control Panel? If I recall some keyboard layouts have the Delete function where UK keyboards have the Backspace button.

Control Panel > Region and Language > Keyboard

Ok since i rebooted my computer my keyboard backspace now works as it should? very strange because i havent changed any settings? lets see how long it lasts lol
