Hey all,

I was just wondering if there are any devices available to packup SD cards, so that when I'm away I can just stick the card into a small device and backup the pics onto like a portable HDD or something like that...

Is there anything like that on the market?

That's the only thing I know of, think of what your asking for though.

Your asking for portable backup, runs off batterys, can store 1000's of photos, you want it to be reliable.

Shop around, can probably get it for a decent price :)
 
How often do you think you would use one of those devices? Only reason for asking is that the price of memory cards is so low these days that it's worth thinking about a stack of them rather than an HDD based device.
