Backup and Restore Playstation 2 Memory Card

I have a Playstation 2 Slim, I would like to backup the save games stored on its memory card to my PC and be able to restore them back. Is there a way I can do this?

Could I use one of those PS2 to PS3 USB memory card adapters, perhaps they only read and don't write?

As a side note, any PS2 gamers here?

I'm not to sure if those PS2 to PS3 memory card adapters work with the PC, however if you've got a PS3 you can back it up on that then use a USB to put the saved files on to your PC.

Yeah, it's how I put downloaded PS2 saves on to my memory card.
