Hi all,
I currently have a backup system in place at work that every day backs up everything updated in the last 7 days.
now every other month i delete backups older than one month manually
however one drive we backup very rarely changes so deleting backups older than one month would wipe out everything.
im trying to setup an automated deletion process but, i need a way to stop the system deleting older folders if there isnt a newer backup.
Im currently using syncback for backups.
what method could i use for delettion process? some suggested Xcopy.
Would this be the best method?
