backup exec 10 sql agent

hey,

At work we currently use backup exec 10 for all our backup needs.

I've been asked by my boss if I can inculde the SQL Server in the nightly backup's.

Now I've looked on symantec's website but the only information avaiable is for exec 11, which has sql agent allready included.

Does anyone know how I can go about getting this agent for version 10??

yes you can get a sql agent for version 10, speak to your veritas supplier.....

We're a IT distributor, so would be us then.

Having managed to track down the reverent person, It would appear that the SQL Agent is no longer available for version 10. You can buy the SQL Agent for 11d (with support) and downgrade so it's runs on version 10 but that more expensive than upgrading the whole lot!!! :rolleyes:

looks like a upgrade job to me.

Version 11d is very good use it in work, we pay maintenance
