I would like to put a decent backup system in place and was thinking of having an ethernet HD that could accept Time Machine backups as well as serve iTunes content. Preferably raid 1 for extra redundancy.

Actually I like the idea of a Windows Home Server as a target, but probably a bit pricey and not sure on the time machine bit either.

What do you guys recommend, (cheap as poss)?
 
Openfiler sounds interesting, I do have a PC that I was going to flog, but maybe I can put it to better use?!!?!

I'll get googling and find out more about it. Thanks for the tip!
