Backup / Imaging software with best compression?

Hey all, iv used stuff like acronis and macrium in the past but was wondering if anyone has come across imaging software that has a higher compression level? trying to cut more space used from my drive images.

In macrium did you leave it at default compression?
Or use the options to set maximum compression?
I find it's compression pretty good
There has to be a limit as to how much it can be compressed
So not sure one program will be much better
Than all the others

I did set it to max. Looks like i will need to try all other imaging software and test for myself to see which is best in terms of compression.

Never actually tried it
But guess you could try turning image file
Into a zip/rar file with maximum compression
Though would take time but if times not an issue
Might be interesting to see if can shrink them

My favourite is now Veeam endpoint. It's free, can backup to NAS and has a super simple interface.

I never notice it, just sits in the background and does its job.
