Guys,

Can anyone help me.

I need to replace a back up system for a small company and I need a few ideas....

They currently have an imoega jazz drive I think it is and its bust.

They use that connected to their server with the software from imoega to schedule the back up of just backing up some files off ths server.

I am struggling to find an all in one product that isn't overly expensive that will do the job that they can take gome with them at the weekend etc.

I don't really want to be using NT backup, just a nice simnple program included with the device to schedule it all.

I can grab a external hard drive easily enough but its the software I am struggling with!

Any ideas?

I believe that some Western Digital protable drives actually come with some backup software on them. Not sure how good it is though.

Acronis solutions are pretty good, just back up the whole system on a image
and if anything goes to pot you can restore it.

We back up a main server and restore it on another older one, if anything were
to happen to the main server we could be back in no time. This takes more
work since you have to restore, but you could just keep images of the system
incase anything goes poop.

If it's a small company you should move toward online backup solutions, easy and with no messy tapes that can go missing or be stolen!

Carbonite is a good one, or Get Drop Box. For specific server backups like single mail restore options have a look at Perfect Backup.
