Backup or reinstall

Got a question and would like to see what people do. After i've had windows 7 installed for a few months i reformat and reinstall to give it abit of a clean up. Do people do like i do or image the drive and reinstall that way.

I usually do a clean install, however I know I should get acronis and make a clean image to go back to every few months...

You know you really don't need to do a wipe just to clean up Windows 7.

A bit of discipline and you can keep it nice and shiny indefinitely. Do regular defrags, uninstall software as soon as you know you wont use it again, use something like CCleaner to delete old temp files and the like, check your startup programs [MSCONFIG can show you these, as can CCleaner] deleting anything you don't want to start with your machine.

If you look after your installation you will never need to do a wipe to get the sparkle back.

BTW: Your signature breaks the rules. Max dimensions are 400x75 and max size is 20kb.
