Morining..

I've always been a little remis on keeping my system backed up and up to now been lucky and got away with it. But I've now just installed an SSD and am a little less trusting of the technology as yet so thought it's time I became a little bit more diligent.

Now I don't have hundreds of gigs to keep a grip on, but would like to back-up all my documents, pictures, music, etc. (possibly create a system image)

Up to now I've simply copied my documents off to my HDD every couple of weeks and that was about it.

What I'd like to to do, if possible is have "My Libraries" on the SSD sync'd to a duplicate on the HDD if that's possible. I have used Windows back-up to create a system image, but that's about it.

Because I know nowt about it really, just looking for advice as to the best way to do it and what software is there out there to get it done (as usual preferably cheap or free, of course I will cough up if I need to)

Cheers

You run it when you want. Really simple. If you don't have a lot of docs you could always use Dropbox, SkyDrive or Google Drive as well.

Thanks all, I've gone with SyncToy for the moment. I've not tried creating a automated schedule for it, as in the little link above. But as I don't have huge amounts of stuff to keep a track of SyncToy works very well (Way better than I imagined it)

Cheers
