The bacon i have says display until/use by 2Nov, it hasn't been opened and its been refrigerated since i bought it. However it had a slight green tinge to it when it was in the pan. It tastes fine, but should i be worried of death?

sorry for two threads on the trot, it's not intentional spamming!

Was it smoked or unsmoked?

If the latter then that's fairly normal (hence why unsmoked bacon is called 'green' bacon).

If the former then OMGWTFYOUAREGONNADIE!!!

:D

I have noticed green parts on bacon when shopping, I tend to go for a different packet in case it kills me!
