Bad Axe 2 2618 Bios

yep looks like the real deal, the last update kept reseting my ram to ddr800 but this latest update seems fine and no constant hdd light ,looks like intel are on the right track

cheers

all seems good here.

No issues with it so far.

Cannot clock further than i could before but im not worried about that. HDD light is working good.

Just remember to turn off watchdog if your clocking.

Hi,

Where do you find watchdog? i been looking for it, and did not see it, is that how it is called, or has different name in bios?

Wasn't the HDD light fixed in the previous BIOS update?

Is there a way to check your BIOS version from within Vista?

Hey Vekiq,

I had exactly the same problem, found it by booting the machine up in maintenance mode.

Power off, move the bios jumper over and then power back up. boots into maintenance mode, first pane has a couple of options, Watchdog and c1e being 2 of them, turn both off if your over clocking ;)
