Hey guys,

Right i know this is the general forum and not overclocking but more view in here :(

Ok i have now got myself a bad axe 2 mobo, in it i have my 6400 connie which ran at 3.28ghz (410mhz fsb) over clocked fine in my p5w dh.

Im using 4gb of 6400 G-Skill 6400HZ mem.

The problem is, for the life of me i cannot figure out how to o/c with the bios on the bad axe.

When i go about 10mhz up on the fsb the machine just posts and says failed o/c press y to enter bios and load defaults :(

Can anyone post me a step by step guide to o/c with this board.

Sorry guys im looking for people with the board who have o/c'd it, im not a n00b to over clocking but this board is very much different to the normal asus/abit and so on bioses :(

Hope someone can help.

Cheers

hi there,

I found it was due to the bios, the latest bios is a very poor clocker, i have reverted to a slightly older bios, and can now run the board at 400mhz on the fsb, giving me a 3.2ghz processor speed.

Not as a good as the p5w but i will re-try more bioses as they come out.

Cheers for the reply
