Bad Block Errors - Dvd Drives

Hello

Trying to watch a series on a dvd on my pc.

However, at different parts of different episodes, wmp will crash and it will always crash at that part.

Eventvwr shows this "\Device\CdRom0, has a bad block".

This happens on both my dvd drives. Is it likely to be the disc?

Do you see any physical damages in disc, like scratch perpendicular to radius?

And what kind DVD drives you have?
Better burners can scan disc for errors of various levels.
