Already have a 4850 and while it's good at 1920x1200 I just wanted a bit more grunt without forking out too much.

Options were sell my current card and get 4890 or keep current card and get another 4850 - both 512mb.

So I opted for another 4850, but wondering now if it wasn't a bad choice due to the 512mb memory....

Shall I try and phone up and change order, or stick with the 4850's?
 
1920x1200 does tend to require a wee bit more than 512mb of RAM, but it depends really what you're playing.

I'd get the card, install it, and see if the performance is any better. If things aren't as good as you'd like, you can send back under DSR.
 
Hmm think you would benefit from the extra memory if you got a different card. Two 4850's will give you awesome performance, but you will always wonder what it would be like with 1gb in the back of your mind :p
