Bad Company 2 Login problem

Which version of BC2 are you using? I had a similar problem when I tried installing with Origin (they were giving Vietnam away free). (I had a Steam code version that I activated on Origin) In the end I got fed up with it and just installed it via Steam... No issues..

Thanks KD, that's interesting - I had it on steam and when I set up the Origin stuff in advance of BF3 added it there as well.
Tried it on steam today and got the error so deleted the steam install and downloaded/installed the Origin version instead (thinking having added it to Origin might have registered it there or some othe such EA madness).
Get exactly the same problem playing it via Origin now. Suppose I could re download on Steam and give that a try as well...
I know i'm hitting the EA authentication servers because it warns me if i use the wrong ID/password combo.
