Im getting these odd white/black squares flashing up during play. I get these on no other games so am a little stumped as you how to fix it. I play on 16x aa and everything on max. shouldnt be a problem. But these flashes are making my new game totally unplayable. I use the nvidia 295. play games like crysis warhead, codmw2, fallout 3 etc all on max no probls. but unable to play this game without these squares flashing up. I use the drivers that where removed but have tried other drivers too, none are any different. Don't know what else to try, i can't play the game with random squares flashing up all the time.
Anyone know how to stop this?

Can't really help sorry, but a friend of mine had the same problem on a 8800gt, so maybe it's a nvidia issue that might be fixed with the next drivers.

Have you tried lowering any of your settings (one at a time) to see if it goes away? Might be helpful to diagnose what's happening!

I think I know what you're on about with these squares, I had the same problem though I have an ATI 5850. The only solution for me was to either play at 8x AA or none at all. This was in single player though and I've yet to test the settings in MP.

I'm suffering from the same issue, but not as severely as you describe, I have one white pixel in the bottom right hand edge of my screen, its not there in other games, it doesn't appear in the game menu, and it doesn't seem to be temperature related. I am running the 196.21 drivers and an evga GTX 295.

yeah marc i did already try that, right well ive fixed the problem . its about 99 percent gone and you guys wont belive what was causing it on this game. Windows 7 Aero!! With that running in the background it was causing that game to have those annoying flashing squares. I get maybe 2 square flashes now per map which i can live with. Mullins im using the driver which nvidia removed from there site the other week, tried the 196.21 driver. the newer one gives a slightly better performance. I get no problems with that driver so i don't want to remove it. Swift dx 9 and 10 did exactly the same thing before working this out. thanks for the replies lads. hope this info helps some people out too.

Everybody has that it's normal as far as this game goes.
