Bad Company 2 registration code - WTF?

So my BC2 got delivered today, however my PC's dvd drive won't detect the disc (Even though it detects others fine ).

So I installed it to my laptop and then copied the directory over the network, now when i try to launch the game it's asking for a registration code, wtf is this and how do I get it ?

Hmm now says my game files are corrupt and won't let me update.

My DVD drive is knackered and for some reason only reads certain discs

Trying to borrow a drive off a friend since I can't afford one atm

But I now have a CD key so could just get an ISO and use the key that came with my game

Get a copy of Tools Deamon and make an ISO of the DVD from your laptop and then mount on your gaming rig? Install from the ISO?

Get you up and running till you get a new DVD drive. I've got a Sony DVD CD /RW up for grabs..!! lol
