Oi Oi,

Loving bc2, lots of fun and its (worringly) reminded me of how much fun I used to have in the old days of CS with nothing but a server, teamspeak, and a beer to windle away many awesome gaming evenings.

So I'm thinking of doing it again! Just wondering if anyone else would be interested in joining up arms?

Not looking to start anything serious - just a group of like minded gamers up for showing all these nooblings how we used to do it.

I already have a dedi box at my disposal, which obviously cant be used to host a ranked server thanks to EAs draconian lockdown - but its good for a site and some solid voice comms. I'll yield the cost of a shiny ranked server too if we get enough peeps together.

Anyone up for it? I'm thinking 18 plus to avoid the drama, but other than that im pretty open!

Have you checked the BC2 thread? there is a Vent server already being hosted by someone and also there are servers from some of the gaming communities that lurk on OCUK.
 
Mate if your looking to compete then jump in with us man, we've been practicing squad play since BETA!! (as locke said, thats us) £10,000 here we come.... + We got DCFC with all his hacks haha!
Soon as ED release the ladders we are there!

Yea - not sure what it is, just always prefered TS to vent. One of those marmite type things me thinks.

I saw the thread - gonna check out some of those servers tommorrow. Was more interested in starting something a little more tight knit I think!

I was exactly the same, TS all the way seemed more elegant if ya get me... however vent is far better!

We currently have a squad of 8 - 10 solid guys.... when we play the game we only play in squads nothing else ready for the leagues!!

I may well pop on tommorrow. Though I think I am looking for something a bit more casual - I work quite a lot, so was just planning on creating a haven for folks looking to escape the ****tyness of the 9 to 5 with a beer and bf as opposed to league play.

lmao trust me it doesn't get more casual that us, i know its clash but i work full time and have my first child due in 5 weeks. so trust me dont worry about that... we have guys in charge who have all day to play (lucky gits :( ) and people like me :D

The guys we have are a mix of full time players and people like me... so trust me dont worry about dedicating every nite to playing haha!

We are currently all raging big time.... how dare EA spoil our Friday nite BEER NITE AHHHHHHHH suma da byatch!
 
I know right! Ridiculous - there I was this morning photocopying dreaming of unleashing some hell later on and its all ruined.

At least until the morning that is :D
 
I'm skint man. Can't afford the game right now. Might be a couple weeks until i can get the cash together. Damn car insurance, tax and mot all at once.

On the plus side, i turn 30 the day after i pay all that out. Did anyone mention a sexy stripper!?! Witwooo :D
 
I too am looking for a "Clan" so to speak, Want to play the game as it is intended to be played! TheGoon, mind if I check out the site and have a poke around on vent?
