So i downloaded the manual patch from here: http://static.cdn.ea.com/dice/u/f/bfbc2/Static/BFBC2_PC_Patch_515195_553292.zip
and apparently all I have to do is extract the Zip to overwrite my game. But every time I use this installer that a guy made that apparently works well, it just makes a folder in my BFBC2 folder called BFBC2_PC_Patch_515195_553292. I then take all the things in that folder and replace the files in the original game folder with the extracted ones. But this doesn't work, simply BFBC2 just doesn't work. It opens for 1 second, white screen then it closes
