Bad experience with RTX2080ti eBay

Bought a new Asus Strix 2080ti from a seller called ForgottengamesHQ on ebay and look what turned up!

A crappy xbox game padded out with a bunch of Wii manuals
Looking at other sold items looks like a few more people have this coming!

£1150 by the looks of it, i count 7 he has sold in total.

Yes was both pay-pal and Barclay card, so hopefully I'll get my money back but there's a bit of a timely process.
It was £1250 but looking at other sales they dropped it to £1150 which a few others bought if you look back on a sold item search.

I was a bit hasty in purchasing it, everywhere is out of stock of this particular model with a mass of pre-orders. That'll teach me for being impatient!

i have my own rule with ebay. £50 is the max i would pay on ebay. let alone £1150.

So where's the profit for the scammer ? It's obviously cost them money/time to send that crap to the buyer, if they didn't get the money what's the point in doing it ?

He will be able to withdraw the funds immediately to whichever account is linked to his paypal then transfer it out of there to elsewhere. Once paypal open a claim he'll be away with the money and nothing paypal can do about it really.

weight, proof of postage, seller then turns the table and says the buyer is having him off.
