Bad FPS Problems With Nvidia GTX 570, Could Be CPU?

If your talking DVI then I just took it out for the picture but it's plugged into the card normally. Will take one with all the leads in.

Sounds like its using the processor for graphics instead of the 570.

The following benchmarks were done at high quality at 1080P (the 570 is better than a 6850):

AMD A8-3850 (3.33GHz with HD 6850 1GB) 61-71 FPS
AMD A8-3850 (3.33GHz) 18-22 FPS

Any ideas how I could switch it to using the 570 as maybe that's what all games are doing. Also I'm 1920x1080 as well :)

Hold on, why isn't the card on the top PCI-E slot? What board is that?

I just found this in the motherboard manual:

I
ts an Asus F1A55-M AMD A55

Kestryn - can you please open a game for me, any game that is graphics intensive for example TF2, portal, Battlefield 3 etc... and keep afterburner running in the background, play for a few minutes and then take a screenshot off afterburner, I want to see if your GPU is actually being used.

In your device manager picture the 570 is the only one listed there, sot he onboard is disabled.

And you have the card in the wrong slot. It's running at x4. This will heavily bottleneck the card. You need it at the top slot to run at x16.

As the placing of the Sound Card there was like a 5mm gap for the fans on the card to breath, therefore it was put on the other. Would that make a difference? Currently trying to find a link to my board for you :P

Does it matter about how close it will be to the sound card as there is only like a 1cm gap, would the card still be able to draw air?

Wouldn't explain the frame rate.
A 4x doesn't bottleneck a 6990 to give less than 20 FPS in ARMA lol.

? No but for a lower end card such as a 570 it would need the x16 lane to keep above 30fps and a x4 570 would bottle it very low as far as I know.
I expect trying it in the X16 lane and seeing what performance gains come from that is the best step to take first, I'm sure it would give a good improvement
