So i was wondering if having my cpu in a water cooling loop with a gtx 580 is a bad idea, because the 580 generates so much heat, could it likely be making the cpu too hot ?

the graphics card at max when overclocked gets to 60C which is great, but the cpu can also get very close to this temp ( 55 - 58C )

Would it be a better idea to just watercool the 580 and then air cool the cpu ?

so you mean having two loops so there both seperate ? or just adding another radiator into it after the cpu?
Would a 120 one really make that much difference ?
