bad image in games

my p is fine all the time but as soon as i load games the image is very bad. it flickers and (dont know what its call) when you get like white and purple marks flashing all over the screen.

my question is.... is my 2 weeks old 280x dead? or can other hardwhere make this happen.

the system was fine last night i spend 3 hr's playing titanfall, then morning my boy was to play and boom picture is bad
 
yes ever thing is upto date. nothing as changed on the system from last night.

films, web use, emails and so on are all fine just load a game or 3dmark and it like THIS

temp right now is 39c and the card as a bad picture

i have just noticed something strange give me 5 and al pop a print screen up
 
ok, when i opened hardware monitor the windows check screen pop up, on the screen there is also a second box in the top corner that i have never seen before it looks like the windows language bar is that normal as i have never seen it before

also noticed my system feels very slow today.
 
mmmm could this fault have been down to me?

i have just found that MSI afterburner, CCC and sapphire trixx app's all trying to OC the card and trixx had the memory set to 5000.

i did a little OC'ing of the card and found it to be a bad clocker and stopped bu8t i must have for get to remove the app's, the card is now running 3dmark with no problem.
what would be the best aplication to test the card to see if its faulty.
