Bad Luck

Not had a problem with OC RMA stuff before so not blaming them.
Only real pain in the backside is that I had to buy everything again or wait until they test and refund me. I bought everything again and I am yet to send everything faulty back but this is not fair on the younger generation who may not be able to do this.

Pro-tip - if it's dead on arrival, don't send it back via RMA (whereby OcUK test it and then replace it etc) - send it back under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR). RMA is a warranty return, and can mean you get the same item back if OcUK decide it isn't faulty - under the DSR you can send it back for any reason, not just potentially faulty goods, meaning you get a refund fairly quickly and can re-order. Then you send the item back to OcUK and they can deal with it however they wish.

I had this when I had a HDD which was technically working but making an unpleasant noise. I wasn't happy with it, sent it back and purchased a different drive. It's much faster and easier than RMA'ing, but make sure you mention it when returning the item.
