By this time next week we will know if sanity has won and we get a No vote in which case the pound will probably gain or, insanity has won and the Yes vote has won and the pound crashes.

Same, not much more to be done. Have shared my experience of Salmonds financial 'prowess' with everyone I know, put up my no thanks posters, cast my vote... not much left to do but wait.

Just on a slight side note let me ask what gives best exchange rate a stronger pound or a weaker pound ?

For changing into other monies, stronger pound (you get more foreign money per pound). If you have foreign cash looking to change back into sterling you get more with a weaker pound.

Don't forget delivery too!! We get classed by some as Highlands and Islands here. If this madness becomes a reality and Yes wins we will be a seperate country so most likely classed as international delivery!! Then there's the exchange rate. As we can't have the pound it looks like we will be using marbles as King Alex hasn't told us the alternative. So how many marbles do we get to the pound?

So should I wait until next week when Scotland votes yes and the pound crashes before I order from Ireland here ??

Flipside being Scotland votes no and I get bummed by a stronger pound

Think I'll just keep putting together my shopping list of stuff and order regardless !
