bad ram???

Hello
I have a asus p5nsli motherboard and ocz gold ddr 2 667 memory 2x1gig sticks and when I turn it on I get no video.

like the monitor its not even connected

it just says check connection. I have power to my gfx card. tried a diff gfx card, didn;t do it either. tried different monitor...nothing.


Any ideas?

Could be a range of things, has the system every worked or is this a new build?

does the cpu fan spin?
is there lights on the mobo?
do you hear the 'beep' when u turn it on?
do you have another monitor to try?
(or another monitor cable?)
