In the latest version of dtv3, you can set your region (in my case, Lincolnshire - Belmont) which may make it lock onto stronger channels.
additionaly its now supported under xp64 and vista64 with the latest drivers. Not that this will make a difference to signal strength
in my opinion, the drivers and software have come along way with the compro cards, so much so that it seems like a new card if i compare with the old drivers that came with it a year ago.
Ok well if you wanna get techincal, ITV and Channel four are both on Multiplex 2, which uses a 64 QAM bitrate, which is a higher quality than 16 QAM, (which the BBC channels on multiplex 1 are broadcast in), but being a higher quality means it is harder to get a good signal.
